Boyne mountain resorts dog rescue team is calling for help in locating a male Labrador retriever, who was found stranded on a cliff in the town of Glencoe, Montana.
A man who was hiking in the area of Glencoes, about 50 miles southwest of Bismarck, spotted the Labrador with his phone camera Sunday afternoon.
He called 911 and the rescue team came to the scene to assist.
According to the Bismark County Sheriff’s Office, the dog, a 4-year-old male, was found by a local dog walker who saw him in the valley.
He was taken to a vet clinic and treated for hypothermia, and then airlifted to a veterinary hospital in nearby Bozeman, where he is in stable condition.
The dog is believed to be between 6 and 8 years old.
He’s believed to have been living with his owner in a barn at the top of the hill in the village of Glencastle.
