Mountain Lake Lodge in Rocky Mountain Oil and Gas Co. in Idaho, the first ski resort in Canada to open to tourists, is opening to the public.
The lodge, which is operated by Alberta Mountain Lodge, opened on Dec. 3, according to its website.
The resort’s main entrance is in a small town in the town of Mount Baker in the Canadian Rockies.
It has a room rate of $150 a night, with the minimum spend of $75 a night for an overnight stay.
The resort’s website says the resort is “built with a mountain ski lifestyle in mind.”
The lodge is open to the general public on Monday, Feb. 6, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and for those who are new to the area, it offers guided tours.
