On the slopes of the Appalachian Mountains, Georgia’s largest mountain, ski resorts are popping up all over the place.
We talked to a few ski guides about their favorite resorts in the state.

Located on the Chattoochee National Forest, Georgia has more than 2,500 miles of trails, more than 500 of which are snow-packed, which makes it the most snow-covered ski area in the world.
Located in the Georgia Mountains, Geogia is home to the Appalachian Mountain Ski Area.
The area was created in 1929 and is located in the southern portion of the Chattahomish Mountains.
In addition to its ski trails, Geolia also has a ski and mountain bike park, the world-renowned Geogie Ice Arena, the Geogieland Golf Course and several community amenities.
The Chattahooche Mountains is the second largest mountain in Georgia, behind Mt.
Katahdin.
Located in the Appalachian foothills, the area is home a range of mountains and snow-capped mountains.
The Chattahooch is also home to a variety of hiking trails, including the Grand River Trail and the Appalachian Trail.
The Grand River and the Chattarigouche Trails are also located in Geolia.
The Appalachian Trail is a popular hike and bike trail that is open year-round, from March to September.

The Mt.
Agung National Park, in the eastern part of Georgia, is home of the Agung Mountain Ski Resort.
The park, which covers an area of 1,300 square miles, is the third largest in the United States, after Yellowstone and Yellowstone National Park.
Located on the lower slopes of Mt.
Blythe, the Agong Mountain Ski Park is located at the base of the mountain.
The Agung Ski Resort has a variety on its trails, from the Snowbowl, the Skunk Bowl and the Big Beaver, to the Ice Cave, the Pint, and the Gila River.
The mountain ski area offers more than 3,500 snow-trails throughout the park.
The Agung also offers a mountain bike and snowboarding area, and offers a large variety of food and lodging options throughout each season.
The Appalachian Trail has been in the National Park Service since 1957.
The trail, which runs through many different parts of the state, is open for public use, including skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and hiking.
The national park also has an area that is available for day use, allowing access to some of the park’s more remote areas.
The North Georgia Mountain, located in Chattahoohochee County, has one of the most famous ski trails in the nation.
The North Georgia Ski Resort, located at milepost 10 on Highway 11, is in the mountains and boasts more than 600 miles of terrain.
It has a beautiful array of snow-shoe trails, mountain bike trails, a ski resort and more.
The Big Bear, located about 50 miles north of Atlanta, has a unique ski area that was established in the late 19th century.
The resort was named after a famous bear, and is a favorite destination for snowshoers.
The Big Bear is also the largest ski area and ski resort, and provides many of the trail-finding options in the park, including snowshoes, mountain bikes, ski rentals and more, including ski cabins.
